What an installed price includes

An installed price covers the whole floor. On a WoodArt flooring quote each part has its own line:

  • Material — the plank, tile or engineered hardwood you pick, priced by the square foot.
  • Prep — the preparation your room needs before the new floor goes down.
  • Installation — laid by our bilingual English and Spanish crew.

Because every part is itemized, you can compare our quote line by line with other bids. The square footage comes from a free in-home measurement of each room, so the number is based on your floor plan rather than a guess. Each installation carries our 3-year workmanship warranty on top of the manufacturer's product warranty.

Example costs, worked out from our published prices

These examples simply multiply a room's square footage by the per-square-foot ranges above. They are arithmetic, not quotes: your quote uses your measured square footage and the product you choose.

Example roomFloor and published rangeLow endHigh end
Kitchen and laundry room, 200 sq ftLVP, $3.99–$7.99 per sq ft$798$1,598
Bathroom and entry, 100 sq ftPorcelain tile, $5.99–$11.99 per sq ft$599$1,199
Living and dining room, 500 sq ftEngineered hardwood, $8.99–$14.99 per sq ft$4,495$7,495

To size your own project, multiply each room's length by its width in feet to get square feet, then multiply by the range for the floor you like. Split an L-shaped or open-plan space into rectangles and add them up — or let us measure it for free.

What moves the price within a range

Two things decide where your floor lands inside its range, and both show up on the itemized quote:

  1. The product line. Each floor type comes in several MSI Surfaces collections — for example the Everlife Cyrus and Andover luxury vinyl plank lines, the Aspenwood, Havenwood, Aria and Balboa tile collections, and the Kelmore, Ladson and McCarran engineered hardwood collections. Choose the look first, then compare two or three favorites on price.
  2. The prep your room needs. Prep is quoted as its own line, so you can see it separately from the floor itself.

Putting the right floor in each room protects the budget too. Engineered hardwood does not belong in wet rooms, so bathrooms and laundry rooms are better in 100% waterproof luxury vinyl plank or porcelain tile — see which floor goes where.

Floors, cabinets and countertops in one visit

WoodArt is a cabinet, countertop and flooring showroom, so a kitchen or bath can be planned in one place. At 431 Isom Rd you can set a plank or tile sample beside a cabinet door and a countertop slab before you decide, and the same free in-home visit can measure both your floors and your countertops.
