How countertop installation works
Your installed quote is one written number that covers every step below, so there are no surprises between the slab and the finished counter.
- Free in-home measurement — we measure the runs, overhangs and sink location; no estimating from a sketch.
- Slab selection — pick your exact slab at the showroom and see it next to your cabinet door and hardware.
- Digital template — made after the cabinets are set, so seams, sink cutouts and appliance gaps land exactly right.
- Fabrication — your edge profile, sink and cooktop cutouts, and any backsplash or waterfall pieces.
- Removal and installation — on install day we remove and dispose of your old tops; then our own crew sets, levels and seams the new counters, seals natural stone and cleans up, backed by our three-year workmanship warranty.
Edge profiles
Eased (square with a softened edge), beveled, bullnose, ogee, and mitered waterfall ends for islands. Your quote lists the profile you choose, so upgrades are never a surprise. More in quartz countertop edges explained.
Good to know
- Undermount sinks are the standard pairing with all three stones; farmhouse sinks need an apron-front base cabinet — plan it with your cabinets.
- Natural stone (granite and quartzite) is sealed; quartz never needs sealing.
- Countertops are templated after cabinets are installed, which is why we quote cabinets and tops together when you're doing both.
- Plan on about 1–2 weeks from measurement to install.

How many square feet does a typical kitchen need?
A standard 10×10 kitchen uses roughly 35 sq ft of countertop. A bathroom vanity top is typically 4 to 13 sq ft, so upgrading the stone costs far less in a bath.
What is included in the installed price?
One written price covers the free in-home measurement, your slab, the digital template, fabrication (edge profile, sink and cooktop cutouts) and installation by our crew. Standard edge profiles are included at no extra charge.
How long does countertop installation take?
Plan on about 1–2 weeks from the in-home measurement to install day. The digital template is made after your cabinets are set, so if you are replacing cabinets too, the counters follow the cabinet install.
Do you remove my old countertops?
Yes. Our standard installation removes and disposes of your old tops on install day.
