Quartzite countertops: the marble look, built for daily use
Quartzite vs quartz
The names are close; the materials are not. Quartz is manufactured from ground quartz and resin, while quartzite is quarried from the earth. Quartzite gives you soft, marble-like veining, is harder than granite and is naturally heat- and scratch-resistant — which is why it sits at the top of our price range.
Care
Like granite, quartzite is porous and needs periodic sealing to stay stain resistant. Otherwise it asks for little: it is the most durable of the three stones we install and a good match for high-traffic kitchens.

What customers say about this
"We renovated our master bathroom and built-in laundry. WoodArt handled cabinetry, countertops, and the install — perfect outcome. The countertop quartzite (Taj Mahal) is exactly what we wanted. Hand-feel the slabs in their showroom before buying — pictures don't do it justice."
