Accurate measurements are the foundation of a quality kitchen. We come to your home, measure every wall, window, door, outlet, and plumbing line — at no cost — so your final quote is exact.
Why it matters
A kitchen with bad measurements means gaps, fillers, and re-work. Our designers measure to 1/16" tolerance and account for soffits, drywall variation, plumbing rough-ins, and appliance specs.

What happens during the visit
A WoodArt designer comes to your home and measures every wall, window and door, the ceiling height and any soffits, and the position of outlets, plumbing and gas lines, noting drywall variation and your appliance specs along the way. For countertops we measure the runs, overhangs and sink location; for flooring, the square footage of each room.
Have these ready
- The appliances you are keeping or buying, with their sizes.
- Your sink choice, if you have one — it sets the width of the sink base cabinet.
- Photos or ideas you like, so the designer can build them into your 3D design.
After the measurement
Your measurements go straight into a free 3D design — floor plan, elevations and photorealistic views — and an itemized quote. Quotes are turned around in 48 hours, and there is no obligation and no trip charge.
